Pickett Ride / Camp out May 3 4 5

I wish I was able to go:( My son's birthday party is saturday. So I'll be in no mans land at chucky cheese's. You guy's take plenty of pictures and vids for me.

KYKodiak, I go through Bowling Green, Albany, to Forbus store then turn left on 200 and back up and over the mountain, kinda like your way coming in from the top, we did that once in the dark after riding all day.

It would seem to me you are going the long way around. If you stay on 90 past 127 it is only about 8 miles to 1009 down to 200.
I am not home so I don't had access to a computer to check the map, but I think it would be closer for you to take this route to Carl's , and if you wanted to go to the Forbus store just, drive past Carl's and then backtrack. It would save you that 10 or 12 miles of bad road on 127

Just wanted to drop in because myself and about 2-4 other sxs's are planning on riding on sunday. We're coming out of Monterey, TN, and plan on parking on blackhouse mtn. rd. We should be unloading around 8am. I've got the blue rhino, my buddy will be in his yellow commander, and there might be a couple other rhinos and maybe a rzr. Name's Carlo.

Here's a peek at the weather for the weekend...might want to pack the raingear It doesn't look to be a lot of rain, but you never know

I may bail out do to the rain, forcast is getting worse. Looks like we need to go further east to escape this.

I have been watching the weather to see what it's going to do before I commit to the ride. I am still in hopes the forecast will change and if it does I will be there Saturday. If not, I'll see you guys on the next trip.

I would chose rain over dust any day! Hot & dry weather is right around the corner, so that's when I will stay home!

Jason and I are in. Bringing the T4, but wish I had a roof and windshield now...lol. I have a rain suit so I'm prepared.
