2 DAY RIDE @ BRIMSTONE MARCH 31st -APRIL 1st

Hello all!

Dr Mud hs invited me over to this forum, so I'm a newbie here. He also has invited me for yalls ride this weekend.
I just wanted to say that I wlll be bringing 2, maybe 3 others with me. Unfortunatly we will only be able to ride on friday due to work.
I have rode at brimestone a few times, but it's been almost a year since I've been. I havn't got my sig up yet, but I ride a pretty modified Grizzly 700. Here is a link to youtube that can get yall familair to me and how I ride. I even have a few Brimestone Vids.
I will get familiar with this forum and set up my Sig... in the meantime yall can give this newbie a hard time!! lol

Any particular trails lined up for Friday? Or is it just gonna be a point and shoot day?

Welcome. From the way I take it, it'll be point and shoot. Im sure it'll be up in the day before alot of our riders will be there

Going to ride long and hard and pick up the strays as they roll in friday, and in to the night...that is my plan.

NC' what time you guys rolling in friday? I will be there thursday afternoon.

We can ride your trails, I might need a spotter in the bad spots....lol.

We will probably get there pretty early, at the latest 9am. We usually leave NC around 5am, and it's about a 3.5 hours drive for us.
Me and my buddy can get a general trip planned for friday if yall would like. I'm not sure what trails are on the agenda for the rest of the weekend, but we kinda know our way around up there, and can take some pretty fun trails. I remember one trail named 'rougher than a Cob', that was a fun trail!

AtV's loaded, still packing my stuff, making piles...i always bring to much stuff. If I had a semi, it would be full.....lol.

There is a chance I may be flying solo... But if thats the case Oh well as long as nothing crazy happens Tomorow I'm gonna load up and be ready to head out early Friday morning!

I can't remember, but I don't think the front office that you buy permits doesn't open until 9am... Does anybody know for sure?

Just finished my last night of work for the week. Now Im laying here in bed thinking about the ride. Im pumped! Gotta alot to do tomorrow to get ready so those of you heading up tomorrow stay safe and have a blast. See ya on the trails.

Our weather forecast is looking better, rain chances are decreasing, with record high temps. We are going to have a good time!

I plan on trying to purchase a couple rainsuits just in case

I wear a pair of waterproof pants anyways. I'll bring a rain jacket just in case, but I bring a change of clothes anyways so if I get soaked ( from rain or MUD!!!) I get cleaned up and dried off!! Lol

Put in about 20 miles this afternoon, returned a little after dark. Trail were a little slick from the rain, should make for a good ride tomorrow.

Had an absolute blast riding yesterday!! Rode with Dr. Mud and a few others and we rode 50 miles. I got some good footage on camera and will get it on youtube as soon as I am able. It was good meeting and riding with the onesI did yesterday. yall are a great bunch to ride with. Hope the rest of yalls trip goes great!!
