| Hello all! New here and interested in riding at Pickett/Slickford. I live in Monticello. Where would be the best place for me to park and start my ride. Would very much like to go with some one the first time. Possibly this weekend or next. Have heard and read a lot about the area and attractions ( car hauler, preachers rock and such ) | |

| Welcome to the forum Big Dog Daddy. I will be riding Royal Blue this weekend but I am sure someone will be riding Pickett.
We always park on Blackhouse Mt. Rd | |

Welcome to the site my friend! Pickett is an awesome place to ride with several sites to see.. I wish I was riding this weekend.. I may try to ride around the end of next month if you are interested.. No plans yet got to see what happens over the next few weeks... | |

| Guys thanks for the response. As it turns out I can't go this weekend, but probably can go next Sat. I may contact you next week Ridered and get some more info. I will be bringing my wife so I will have to keep it a relaxed ride. Looking forward to my first ride there. I have heard great things about riding there. Thanks again. | |

Yea I understand, I usually have my wife with me also and if weather fitting my 2 kids also !! I have a birthday party to go next Sat. so  have to figure something out ...  | |
