All, beginning Oct. 21 blaze orange is required while riding on WMA land. Must have orange on the chest AND Head at all times. ------ ( I received this note today from Royal blue rangers !!! )

It is for all the Gun hunting season I think it ends sometime in late January. You can call the TWRA office at exit 141 to be exact on the date that it ends.

The main thing to remember is you have to wear orange on the head and chest, that includes helmets! Normally during hunting season it's only needed on the chest but WMA requires the head as well. Deer gun doesn't start until November but the Elk hunts begin on the 21st. Hunts are off and on until late January so we just make a habit of wearing it every time we ride until then.
