Riding Royal Blue April 6th-7th 2013

Hey guys now that we got a date how about we start planning... I will probably be up to ride saturday, saturday night, and half a day on sunday (weather permitting)... lol I am hoping to head up that Friday night, how/where is everyone staying? FYI this is going to be a family ride so pretty easy trails and sight seeing adventure.. Anyone Who would want to guide? If I guide it will be a slow ride and I need a map. lol This will be my first trip here.

I am camping with the motor home. Some have reserved cabins. I can't wait. Plan on doing a lot of riding b4 April also. It looks like we may ride Brimestone 1/12.

If I can get off work on sat. I will get there Friday evening or early Sat. morning. I will probably hook-up with Damn Yankees. Since I've been putting up with that nut since 5th grade.

so april 6th 7th I WILL TRY TO MAKE THAT ONE.. I know the trails so so.if your not staying overnite u can also park 4 free at EX.141 on I-75 .at the mex. rest. next to the shell gas.. u can get riding pass at the PILOT TRUCKSTOP..24hrs a day..

Glad to hear you will make it. Having a guide is even better. My wife is looking forward to meeting everyone. I see you are riding 1/12/13 @ Brimestone also. See you there.

But when you go to there website they use google maps for the directions.

never mind i got royal blue and brimstones web site mixed up.

I'm good to go and maybe my wife will be there.. So I am looking for an easy ride, if she's gets off camber I will loose my head.... lol I told her it would be basically gravel roads... lol

I may get to attend this ride, all depends on when I go back to work. If I cannot make it be sure to do trail 2, this is a long trail and runs down by the river, and is the most beautiful trails there. (IMO)

I might load the Grizz up and join in

where is everyone staying? where is a good meeting spot?

We are staying at RRB lodge, so not sure about a time or meeting place, but this is still a go with my wife and I.

It doesn't look good for me at present. Going to NJ for 2 wks and my entire frt end is apart. Just ordered ball joints and wheel bearings & complete bushings which should come while I am gone. Should be back by 4/5 and put it back together. If I ride it w/b on Saturday. I will keep you informed. I did cancel my reservation at RRB but was surprised they chgd my entire stay up frt and charged $50.00 to cancel.

Who all is planning on making this ride? Looks like I am down to two bikes... My RZR and one other coming with me..

Don't count me out yet. It is my intention to be there!!!! If the correct parts I ordered arrive I will be good. I plan on a Saturday ride also. Just need to know what time we will start and from where.

Wife and I are arriving late Thursday night and leave sunday, staying at the RRB lodge. I am not team leader, I have never been to RRB. ...somebody tell me when and where and we will be there.

I plan on coming up early Saturday morning and getting there ready to ride, Is there a place close to where you are staying where we could park and ride for the day? I think we are going to stay at a hotel off of trail ten.. As for time I am thinking 10am cst? any other ideas?

For anybody just riding sat. they can park at ex. 141 off of I-75.. there a mex. ret next 2 a shell gas that lets us park..Ill be there sat at 9 est.. :ma go:

anybody going to be there Friday morning? We won't get in till midnight on Thursday night so won't be jumping up and out to fast, probably eat breakfast at the lodge then putt putt around for 75 miles with easy to mid level trails.

New to the forum, we are planning on being at royal blue this weekend also. We have two rzr's so far that are committed. We would like to join the group some, we plan on riding all day Saturday and Sunday. We are staying at the comfort inn hotel. This will be our first trip to royal blue also. We enjoy all trail levels except for extreme. Our daughter usually rides with us ( she is 8) Is there a meeting time and place?
