GBC's Kanati Mongrels now in 27" for 12" wheel!

Got the e-mail today that GBC just released another 27" tire for the 12" wheel! A couple years ago we told GBC we wanted some larger tires offered for the 12" wheel because of the side wall needed on the trails we ride and the answered us with the 27" Dirt Commanders first and now the Mongrels! Got to love companies that listen to us and give us want we want in a durable package! The DOT approved Mongrel is now available in 11" and 9" wide designs in 27" for the 12" wheel. I had a set of these in 26" and other than being a little small for the RZR they worked great and cleaned out surprisingly well. The 26" rode smooth and hooked up great in hard pack, on pavement, on rocks, and with a little wheel spin worked great in a little loose stuff. One thing I really liked about the mongrels is the tight tread design making them almost impossible to puncture with stobs and rocks, needless to say I put my order in today so hopefully I'll have a set of 27" Mongrels next week.

Got mine in and got them mounted.. The wife said the Fed-Ex driver bout shat himself when he slid back down the driveway after dropping them off due to all the ice! I wish I had been here to see that.. lol

Did you get 9 all the way around or 11 all the way around.  The 27x11 is what I would like to have all the way around mine. How much do they run I looked on the GBC web and they must have not had the price on there yet.  If they are not to bad I would like to sell my bighorns and get me a set, were I run on the road a lot they look like they will hold up better than the bighorns on the pavement.

I wish more companies (hint hint STI) would make a 27" or 28" tire for 12"'s.

Yeah I had though of getting the rocktanes after getting to see a set at the atv store and liked the looks.

I put 11" in the rear and 9" upfront. I wanted 11" all the way around but was afraid it would be to much for the RZR front end. I had 11" all the way around on the rhino with no issues but it didn't run/ride like the rzr. With these tires she rides as good as my truck..
