| I'll probably go with a 4000lb. Promark from ebay. I have a Gorilla (Promark's old name) winch on my Rancher and it is good. | |

| KFI is one of our sponsors, I have heard nothing but good from the ones that have them. Myself I have a viper elite 4000lb on my rzr and have had no trouble. I don't believe I would buy a warn from stories that I have listened too. | |

| I have the 4000 KFI and I have also ran the 4000 Viper and I have liked both winches but have had minor issues with both.. I ran the viper for a year and only issue I had with it was a solenoid went bad, I have been running the KFI for a couple years and I have replaced the solenoid and motor.. The new motor from KFI cost I think 45$.. Both companies replaced the solenoids for free..
The reason I had to replace the motor on the KFI is because I was trying to pull out a stuck ford ranger and I let the winch drag the rhino with the wheels locked for a good bit before I finally give up and after that it still worked but next time I pulled it apart to grease the gearbox I found the magnets in the motor were broken..
Either way you go I recommend at least a 4000lbs winch, I know when riding as a group we don't need a winch near as often but some day the time may come and you will wish you had went bigger.. | |
