WOW!! I'll start out saying ....... Everyone has to use chevy parts to get things to run good .... (8-71 BBC blowers... ) It looks cool and I wonder how much was just for show ? A Detroit engine is a straight 6,correct ,so a V engine is away from that.... No smoke out the pipes? Its been awhile since I watched any Diesel build but I was thinking they used excessive amounts of fuel with dry shots of Nitrous, so either thats one clean running diesel or ......
Not a hater by no means ,but it looked a little fishy to me.....

Detroit has made v style motors for years and a good dab of nitros along with plenty of air will make the smoke all but go away. You may be right, but just saying that it is possible :thumright

I should have worded it different..... a 71 Detroit was a strait 6 and this engine was a V so not using the crank or block this is a detroit 71??? Just using what he said

Here is Nitrous and propane on a diesel that has an exaust system...
Its way to hard to have that much hp(3400+) and have a perfect tune with no smoke........ just sayin... he was standing over the pipes and we were able to still here the engine the whole time, usually a 500+ hp engine on tv will cause the volume to go way off when reved.....

I agree on the perfect tune, and after watching the clip again I see what you mean about him standing over the exhaust. With that many blowers running the amount of air moving through that engine would be almost unbelievable. It's still an awesome piece of engineering!
