Subject: Windrock Park trail 75 Waldens Ridge Axle Breaker Ride Sun Jan 18, 2015 7:42 pm
Terry must have walked under a ladder before leaving home, as he had bad luck all day. He broke a front axle on Waldens ridge after getting in a bind in some tree roots, never seen an axle twist so much. Next on The Devils Elbow he twisted and broke the other side. The 2014 1000 is know for weak axles...I guess it is well deserved. He was a good sport about it and we all had a few good laughs at his expense. We had awesome weather and we all had a great time. we cover almost 70 miles today.

sounds like the time to upgrade those axles

Nice vid-thanx for posting. It looks like the 1000 does a lot better than the 900's. The a-arms look to be a little to skinny for me, without a-arm guards to. But there's is something new on the horizon though, a Yamaha sxs,but a single cylinder?
