New guy from ohio

Hey all,good to join the forum,looking to head back to brimstone and or,new river,sundquist,royal blue trails in April,we were down about 3 years ago and stayed & rode at brimstones trails,don't think we got to ride the good long trails there,seemed like there were not as many miles of trails as we thought ,but we were told we did'nt even make it to the good stuff,we like a mix of flats to decent climbs and especially creek riding/crossings ,any comments are welcome, we normally ride hatfield mccoy and the outlaw trails in wv,last time we were at black mountain( April this year) they sucked,nothing like they were 2 1/2-3 years ago, can't wait for spearhead to get another 50-75 miles of trails open then we're heading there to try it out,but up to now the h&m trails are the best we've been on,we talked to a guy near the campground named ( piano man) said he used to be part of the Harlan county ridge runners,but when the state took over the blk mountain trails ,he headed to brimstone to help them out,anyways any comment or suggestions are always appreciated,thanks all

Im from OHIO was moved down here to TN. where in OH. U B

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
RODE ROYAL BLUE TRAILS FOR FIRST TIME LAST YEAR ,THEY WERE OK BUT THIER WEBSITE SAID OVER 300MILES,WE ONLY FOUND ABOUT 125 MILES,WERE TOLD JUST NEEDED TO EXPLORE AND SEE WHERE WE ENDED UP HUH? THOUGHT IF YOU ADVERTISED 300 MILES ,YOU SHOULD'NT HAVE TO GUESS WHERE THEY ARE? RIGHT? ANYWAYS HEADING DOWN IN APRIL TO TENN. STAYING AT TRAILS END CAMPGROUND,DEBATING WHETHER TO RIDE THE BRIMSTONE TRAILS OR GET OUR TWRA PASS AGAIN AND TRY OUR LUCK ON THE NEW RIVER,SUNDQUIST,ROYAL BLUE TRAILS? ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONDS WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS ALL AND KEEP THE SUNNY SIDE UP(OR AT LEAST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE) THANKS STONESTHROW02
