Had an awesome time!!!

Covered over 50 miles yesterday in the rain & some sun. Had an awesome time without any break downs or flat tires. Saw waterfall cave, carpenters rock, mineral pond, car hauler, water fall cave & others. Great bunch of riders & those that didn't come because of the rain missed out on a very good time. It was different riding shot gun and went for the brakes a couple of times but they weren't there. On another note; camping here maybe coming to an end. Kevin the owner said he had some trouble with a prior group and his wife doesn't want to do it anymore. All it takes is a couple of bad apples to ruin the place. I am calling him during the week to see if I can improve the outlook. Former group left litter, used toilet paper and were noisey.

That is a shame Sponge. Maybe they could start taking a deposit from the individuals/groups when they camp. Let them know ahead of time what the rules & expectations are. If they aren't any issues, refund their deposit. If they're noisy, leave trash, etc, don't refund their deposit.

Oh, before I forget. Thanks so bdamcat for letting me ride with you yesterday. I really enjoyed your company and great driving. Look forward to riding with you again.

The pleasure was all mine Sponge. Hope all was well was a little worried when you didnt show this morning. Or maybe I just scared you a little too much lol. You may have went for the brakes a couple times but you went for the gas once and found it haha.

Sure hope we can resolve the issues with parking and camping. Sponge If there is something we can do to help let me know. Barrels for trash, some signs with rules, a clean-up day, etc. I live just 40 minutes away if we need to do something on a weekend. Whatever it takes to make things right.

That sucks about the camping, I have never used the option but hate to see the option taken away over a few unappreciative riders!

Glad you guys had a good time. If I wouldn't have been worried about melting in the rain, I would have been there too. Sucks about the camping spot. Whoever said it was right, all it takes is a couple bad apples.
