Leaving for H/M Trails after work!

A few of us are heading out after work today and doing a 3 day ride at Hatfield McCoy. I've never been, and I'm looking forward to it. I'll post up pics when we return.

Staying in Delbarton in a trailer we rented. Planning to ride Buffalo Mtn, Rockhouse, and Bear Wallow.

We had a blast riding H/M. We did Rock House, Bear Wallow, and Buffalo Mtn as planned, did a good mix of green, blue, black, and even a few red/blacks. I'll post up pics over the next couple days as I get some time. I took over 1 GB of pics and a few short vids (just a camera, no GoPro). We really enjoyed the good variety. There was plenty of nice & fast type trails with some woops, to tighter, slower, and a little more technical, to the red/black that made you think "why did I want to try this!?" lol

I had a fuel delivery issue on one red/black from getting stuck coming up a hill. I had to wait for my friend to come back down to help and the Grizzly 450 was sputtering when trying to give it throttle. It still had plenty of fuel in the tank, but I topped it off anyways. I then had to set on the hill in park, feeding it throttle, and it finally straightened out. Maybe it was on such an extreme hill for so long and not moving that it caused the fuel to drain from the carb? I never had any more issues with it after that, so I figured it was likely due to the hill.

We want to do another trip in the fall and can't wait to go back!

I've always wanted to go to H/M. It's just so darn far away. I think it would be worth it though.

Nice pics, I was glad Mudhound changed Jackets because that orange one kinda made him look fat, much slimmer in the green one....

You missed a heck of a ride Mike. Some of the trails were just insane! Something for all skill levels for sure.
