Going riding on Monday at Pickett

Anyone interested in going? If we go in from the Blackhouse Mtn side, where is the best location to park? I'm not a guide, but I have a map, gps, and I'm going to try to get to some overlooks.

Thanks for the location. I'd heard some folks got their vehicles broken into so I wasn't sure where to park.

Have heard that in the past. Never had a problem myself, but haven't park there for a couple of years since Sunnybrook was open. Might give the store a call and see what's up with parking ???

Are the overlooks hard to find from the store? I looked at the map and know I can find them from the Blackhouse Mtn side.

take 9 to rt. on 51 go thru "Twin Rock" (pretty cool) to 3 to 1. Turn rt. on 1 and stop at Carpenter's Rock and Natural Arch. Back onto 1 and this will take to Blackhouse Mtn. rd. and near 4 overlooks and mineral lake. none of these trails are very tuff. at least not the last time I was there. Also try to hit T-cup off of 2. Nice overlook there.
